Chancellor Construction, LLC is a full-service substation construction contractor. We have completed construction projects in hundreds of substations, switch stations and interconnect stations across the southern United States, ranging in size from small distribution stations to 500kV stations for Investor Owned Utilities, Municipalities and Electric Power Associations. In addition to construction, we offer complete turnkey services including operations management support, material procurement and management, certified bus welders and operators, industry leading safety specialists and final job close-out.

At Chancellor Construction, LLC safety is our highest priority. We have a dedicated safety team and multiple procedures in place to keep our jobsites safe.
Weekly Site Visit reports are completed by each Safety Specialist and a memo regarding any findings and coaching situations are reported to the Utility weekly.

A Safety professional attends all pre-job meetings and establishes a detailed, site specific safety plan for each site.
Aside from in the fields visits, our safety professionals host a weekly safety conference call on Monday mornings, in which all crew members participate.
All foremen and most journeymen are 3rd Party Certified to operate cranes up to 50 tons, man lifts, and telehandlers.
All employees are 3rd Party Certified in Rigging and Spotting.
All employees have completed Knowledge Vine’s, Human Performance 16-week training. This training included classroom and in the field components.
All new hires are required to complete an Onboarding Course prepared by Knowledge Vine.
All new hires complete 8 hours of Substation Training through PowerSafe, before going in the field.
